We are Hannah and Lydia, the sisters behind Weku Yarn, a hand-dyed yarn company rooted in colour, culture, and family. Weku means “family” in Ga, a language from our Ghanaian heritage, and it’s at the heart of everything we do.

Our yarns are dyed exclusively on carefully chosen non-superwash (NSW) bases, offering makers a natural feel and beautiful depth of colour. Each skein is crafted to celebrate heritage, creativity, and the joy of making, from vibrant, bold hues to gentle, earthy tones.
